The official White House position regarding Joe Biden’s 2024 plans has been that he will run for reelection. This is despite the fact that most Americans don’t expect him to and almost two-thirds of Americans don’t want him to.

On Wednesday, however, Biden added one caveat to his promise. David Muir, an ABC News anchor, asked Biden if he planned to run for reelection in 2024. Biden replied that he would…but only if he is in good health.

“Yes, but, look, I’m very respectful of fate,” Biden responded. “Fate intervened many, many times in my life. If I am in good health, if I’m in good shape, then I would definitely run again.

It is unclear what Biden meant when he said he was in good health. The White House physician Kevin O’Connor says Biden is physically fit to serve. However, a cognitive test wasn’t performed. This is a curious oversight considering that the majority of voters don’t believe Biden can be elected president according to a poll by Politico.

Biden admitted that his health may prevent him from running in 2024 follows Kamala Hariri not confirming to Wall Street Journal Joe Biden’s plans to run for office in 2024. This comes after Kamala Hariri said that Joe Biden hasn’t discussed the next election and that Joe Biden is still planning to run.

“I cannot speak to a discussion that the vice president has with the president,” Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karinejean-Pierre stated in response to a question regarding Harris’s comments to Wall Street Journal. “I could only repeat what Jen Psaki (Press Secretary) has said, and what the President himself has stated: He plans to run for reelection 2024.”

She said, “I won’t lie to you: I don’t think about that.” “I won’t talk about our conversations. But I will say this: We don’t talk about or have talked about reelection because we haven’t finished our first year and are in the middle of an epidemic.

Muir also asked him if he would run for the presidency in 2024 if Trump wins.

Biden laughed, “You’re trying now to tempt me?” “Sure. “Sure. It would increase the likelihood of me running.”

According to polls, Donald Trump would defeat Joe Biden in a hypothetical matchup in 2024.
